Genes can be to blame for obesity

Many people have the luxury of eating whatever, whenever, and never seeming to gain a pound. While others, seem to do just the same and excercise and still seem to gain weight. A recent study where scientists discovered that genes can be to blame for this. many people grow up eating a certain way, even those who eat small proportions can gain weight, and excercise sometimes doesn't help.

When you grow up eating certain things and certain times it forms a habit. This makes your brain feel wired a certain way. Like if you grow up eating out every meal that's what you'll crave, because that's what you're used to. This habit can cause you to pack on the pounds as you get older because the older you get the less active you are. Lets be honest fast food isnt good for you anyways and when that's all you eat it can really cause problems. It's better to form positive habits at a young age than negative ones. If we don't form those negative ones it can help us in the long run as we age. We won't be sixteen forever.

A common miss conception is portion size matters the most. Portions do matter and they are a big part of it, but dont neccesarily mean everything. See in the study even the mice who gained weight ate the same as the lean mice and seemed to still gain weight, while the lean mice didnt gain anything. Both sets of mice had the same routine one gained and one didn't. The portions weren't the problem it was the genes of the mice.

Excercise doesn't always determine if you gain or lose weight. See like I said before the mice were all on the same diet, routine, and excercise plan. The mice with the gene mutation just gained weight and there was no way around it. They couldn't help it. So, sometimes it's not about excercise or proportions it's your genes.

So, obesity isn't always just because you eat too much and don't excercise enough it can be more than that. It can be in your genes sometimes. It can also be other factors such as;growing up and eating a certain way, even those who eat small proportions can gain weight, and excercise sometimes doesn't help. Obesity can be carried through your genes not just what you eat.
